Principal's Message

It is truly an honor to serve as principal of Uptown School Complex. As a school, we will continue to promote academic excellence and continuous school improvement in a safe learning environment. This will be achieved from partnering with you and all other stakeholders of Uptown School Complex.

This year we will incorporate programs to directly affect attendance and character education. We will also work with urgency to produce effective and positive results in our students. Uptown School Complex requires the skills and knowledge of us all to be able to rise among other schools and to take us where we have never been. Through the sharing of our experiences and expertise with each other, our overall strengths as a school community will continue to get stronger and stronger.

I challenge you to get excited for this upcoming year. You play a vital role in determining the culture of the school and we need you to help make it a wonderful place to come to work. An environment that is fulfilling and inviting makes it easier to teach and learn. Therefore, I charge you to become involved, express your ideas, work as a team and help Uptown School Complex to be the best school to work and attend.

I look forward to working with you this year and I know that we will rise to the top!
